I’m interested in personal development. In particular, much can be learned about the human condition through meditation. Meditation is about stilling the mind to come to an understanding of our true essence. Quieting the mind is not easy, however there are well practised steps which will be helpful for beginners. The essence of meditation is relaxation, breathing and single minded focus.
Human motivation normally waxes and wanes. Great change is possibly during periods of motivation, whereas much of the gains can easily be lost during the down times. The key to sustained improvement actually lies in gaining control during the down times.
